Breaking News: ResMed Introduces New Fabric Nasal CPAP Mask
ResMed (NYSE: RMD), a leader in CPAP therapy, has just announced the release of its latest innovation, the AirTouch N30i CPAP mask. Designed to create a more natural and comfortable sleep experience for users with sleep apnea, the AirTouch N30i combines softness, breathability, and advanced sealing technology to improve long-term adherence to CPAP therapy.
The San Diego-based company has integrated a fabric-wrapped frame and a moisture-wicking cushion, offering users a softer, more breathable option compared to traditional masks. Its tube-up design allows for greater freedom of movement throughout the night, making it ideal for active sleepers. This launch follows the introduction of ResMed’s AirFit F40 earlier this year, continuing the company's commitment to comfort and innovation.
In a multi-center study, ResMed found that 92.6% of experienced CPAP users preferred the AirTouch N30i for ongoing use, with an impressive 96.7% rating its look and feel as either "appealing" or "very appealing." The mask's new ComfiSoft cushion, combined with its fabric-wrapped frame, ensures a secure yet comfortable seal, reducing irritation for users.
“Our goal with the AirTouch N30i is to make CPAP therapy more comfortable and appealing, helping people stick with their treatment and experience better sleep,” said Justin Leong, ResMed's chief product officer. "This mask redefines comfort and sets a new standard in CPAP therapy, offering both high performance and an aesthetically pleasing design."
The AirTouch N30i will be available in the U.S. starting the week of October 28, 2024, and is expected to help more people embrace CPAP therapy by providing a more comfortable and visually refined solution for sleep apnea management.
Stay tuned for more updates on this breakthrough product and how it can improve your CPAP experience.
